Sarah made a second consecutive return to the Governor General's Performing Arts Awards Gala that took place on November 4, 2006 at National Arts Center in Ottawa.

I just watched the gala and no sign of Sarah. I did some sleuthing and the quote that was posted on littleslean.com is from the 2004 awards

Well at least it was an interesting program. I was sad to not see Sarah but I did learn a lot about some interesting Canadians, it's a win for the night

I guess that Sarah's performance or presenter was cut from the show.

It looks like the information that I used from CBC was not correct as BW noted that was for 2004. They most likely recycled the old program quote.

I did search the GG page and looked for a second source but I couldn't find another list of this year's performers. At this time I still can't find one.

As E said, it was a good program regardless.
