This Monday night at 8:00, CBC will have a 2 hour special called "Shakin' All Over" from the rare archives including The Guess Who, Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot among others. Sarah Slean (what I seen in ChartAttack website at www.chartattack.com) is one of the interviews. Don't miss it!!!

The Globe and Mail has an article about this special. The paragraph that mentions Sarah is:

[quote:9060084955]Those memories are deftly juxtaposed with commentary from current Canadian musical names, like Sarah Harmer, Hawksley Workman, Sarah Slean, Maestro and Sloan's Jay Ferguson, each offering personal acknowledgment of the era's unmistakable influence on their music. There are several update renditions of classic Canadian songs: Ron Sexsmith does proper justice to Lightfoot's If You Could Read My Mind; Diana Krall delivers a haunting version of Joni Mitchell's A Case of You. The musical lineage appears intact.[/quote:9060084955]

and you can read the entire article here

...if this is all we've got to fight for, rage my darling rage...

I saw a comercial for it on TV yesterday during the hockey game. I think a great focus will be on the 60s.

They sure took there time on releasing this as a DVD. Sarah's portions are very small. I had it taped at one time.

It was a good special, although it's probably something i wouldn't buy.
