Heard Somebody's Arms at work today. I have to tell you, it was a nice surprise after 3 hours of nonstop dishwashing (the difficulties of teenage jobs )
just found out that last year, my friend had a skating show she was part of and the theme was Canadian music.
one of the songs they skated to was Sarah Slean's song called Lucky Me! how cool is that?! =) now i'm trying to ask for the tape because i want to watch it! ...even though it was played only for a little bit more than a minute.
I heard Mary at a local starbucks and was so delighted i almost screamed out "HEY EVERYONE, THEY'RE PLAYING SARAH SLEAN!" then 2 days ago i was at the mall and they were playing Mary again on the loudspeaker, it made me smile and kinda made me feel like mr. burns from the simpsons going "..excellent...excellent...we shall convert some more people into slean lovers soon..." hah...

hahha! yeah i always feel that way whenever Sarah Slean songs are being played all over. it makes me smile. =)
Yes indeedy, I used to work there. It's one of the songs which is programmed into their new music player. I think it was added in most stores last Spring

i may have just been hearing things but i doooo believe in the clips they showed for the upcoming episode of Canadian Idol, they show someone singing Sweet Ones by Sarah Slean! it was a split second they showed but i'm pretty sure it was that song!
I didn't notice if they showed him getting cut or if he carried on. Maybe we will see him tomorrow.
The promo might have been actually longer then the clip they showed today. They did not mention Sarah's name. From what I heard, he did put alot of energy in that cover.
I hadn't seen it, but I just youtubed it and....uhh, ya, that was more growling than I could handle. I didn't think it was horrible, it was just very, I don't know...fake?
