Thanks for sharing Jason. I'll be sure to download it in the next few days. Hope Sarah read what we thought of this performance and that she's feeling much better.

[quote:4b1cd20bd0="liposeduction"] that thing looked like a screensaver. I wish they had used Sarah's art as a background instead. *swoons* [/quote:4b1cd20bd0] I thought the very same thing....a chinzy windows screen-saver...ugh. At least use some of Sarah's artwork if you feel a visual is needed...which is wasn't (imho) btw, apologies to anyone that might have mixed up by my "45 minutes in" comment. The French version I watched earlier this week was a completely different edit/mix of the show. Sarah's performance was identical, but there were some significant changes that affected the timeline of the english version. Hope I didn't cause anyone to miss a delightful performance. ...jim

i agree with the background comments. i just found it more or less odd bc they had beautiful video backgrounds earlier in the show. wasn't the biggest deal for the tv audience bc between sarah an the orchestra my eyes were busy enough. jason, nice job of hosting a smaller version. Cameron Bay.

Haha. I didn't particularly mind the background actually... I kinda liked it. It was pretty but not gawdy or overdone. Using her artwork would have.. well it would've been a huge ordeal I'm sure. Plus, she was hardly featured, she was just one 'up and coming' act amongst a bunch of greats. However it would be really cool to see her art as part of her set on tour... I think littleslean.com has a quote on there somewhere from Sarah about that, how she used to design stuff for the stage, that'd be neat to see again

ok, so after returning to high-speed goodness i could download the video. and.. oh. my. god. the ornamentation from the oboe and strings are fucking perfect. the subtle brass line and percussion just add to the dimensional creativity of this woman. ladies and gentlemen, i'm in love with this woman all over again.

I think for most sarah shows the lighting is the biggest image factor outside the ppl on stage. i recall she sees her song in colours... Cameron Bay.
