Hey guys,

I stumbled on Sarah's video last night on NTV - It's a funny satallite station from New Foundland we get here in Ontario, that plays music videos instead of commercials.

I was curious about who directed it? It looks a lot like the Opera House in Toronto - was it shot there?
It's a very well done video.

Peace,
-Rohan-

Newfoundland is one word. I have too much pride, sorry Wink

I've seen it many times on NTV which is strange (here they play local commercials plus snipits of videos - I'm assuming it's as you described elsewhere).

but concerning your question... I haven't the foggiest idea. But I agree, very well done video.

cheers.

Very cool -

Since there is an authentic newfoundlander here, I have ONE big question about NTV that has plagued me for half a year...

....why on EARTH do they keep playing that "Brothers in Stereo" video??? It makes me want to cry, or apologize to the rest of the world for letting that come out of Canada. They are so awkward, and the video is terrible... I just don't get it.

I respect all musicians, and wish any Canadian talent the best, but that video, is just SOMETHING ELSE.

Didn't see the second question. Smiler Yes it was shot at the Opera House on July 1. Here are some pics from the shoot. (http://www.crewpix.com)

Yeah, they really like to push our crap music on other people. There is a lot of good music from Newfoundland, but I don't consider them a part of that.

Yea. It seems that Geoff Stirling likes to put on the content he personally likes. He also puts on a lot of archived interviews and discussions between him and other people. Don't get me started on the news :P

Attention all mainlanders!
There's a lot more to Newfoundland music than Great Big Sea and Brothers in Stereo!

Lucky Us

We have just put the finishing touches on our music video for Sarah Slean's new single "Lucky Me". We shot all the live action at the Opera House in Toronto. Tony Morassutti and his art dept team did a wonderful job creating a stage setting that was based on paintings Sarah did for her album artwork.

Might aswell continue to post up info for this video.

Make up artist for the video is Andria Claire. You might have seen her on some TV shows. Looks like she did the make up for the Day One one cover (although it was painted after) and for photoshoot used for the digital When ANother Midnight single.

It's nice that under her "likes" section on her page, Sarah is mentioned first.

Turns out it actually was "Justin Stephenson (oz media) of Toronto directed Lucky Me. He's an animation wizard."(slean, junk magazine interview)

The producer was Shannon Brand.
