I have no idea why it took so long for them to finally let Sarah put her hands to work on the design of the video... which I can tell she has in this case.

Good work. Music videos are another outlet for artistic expression and I haven't really felt like Sarah accomplished that expression until now.

i love this video. it's especially great because up until now i've found her videos to be pretty lame, and to not capture her or what she's about. this one's great.

I like the video. My mother (who turned 71 on January 30) did not. My mother said, I can't say that I enjoyed that video as much as you did. It was okay, but it seems that the tune is played over and over and over again. She's hard to understand, also. I've heard a lot better, but must say, I've heard worse. I certainly wouldn't hold my breath for her to get to Midland, Michigan, but I'm a lot older than you, so don't understand all this as much as you. :? Didn't want to start a new thread about this, so I popped it into the Video thread, but I just found this image of Sarah from the shoot of "Lucky Me"...here.

LOVE this video. and when videos are added in heavy rotation, it usualy means a countdown spot. i'll be voting my little heart out on the mmmtop10.com. hopefully she gets added on friday!

I'll agree with you clem that sweet one's certainly captures sarah's personality better - at least the personality we all perceive - but the Day One incorporates more of what she is as an artist, imho.

having said that, I love the sweet one's vid too - but adore the new one.

Not to mention that there's always a delight when a pleasant surprise, ie. a SECOND video per CD, comes.

"day one" does examplify how multi-talented an artist she is.
and as always, it's a highly exciting time whenever a new video is released, be it the 1st off an album or 2nd.
i still have the slightest of hope that there will be a 3rd video - perhaps for Mary or Vertigo.

I FINALLY saw the video this morning on MuchMoreMusic (the links never worked for me). It wasn't quite what I had pictured but it was still very Sarah. I'm impressed although it might take a bit longer for it to grow on me. I took some screencaps but they aren't too great.

well, we can be affirmed of 2 things very easily. The long flowing black hair was probably not Sarah's invention and neither the anime. :wink:

Yes, indeed, Nicole, it was his first experience with a music video. I asked Sarah about it tonight . Not the same guy as the Alanis video.

Has anyone managed to capture, or convert the online versions ? I have been unable to view the real of wmv versions, and lack the time to watch Much/MMM ( Unless there is a specific time of day, a specific hr that it's on, I can't justify watching it on end.. )
