Hi everyone!

Welcome to year four of the Passioneer Holiday Project!

This project was created as a way to give something back to Sarah to thank her for her albums, her shows, her art and poetry and for just being fabulous to her fans. Rather than everyone sending her gifts, we're asking that people go out and do something good in their community to spread the joy you get from Sarah Slean throughout the year.

Donations can be made to your favourite charities, neighbourhood causes, or anyone you know who could use a helping hand this holiday season. You can donate time (volunteer at a food drive or offer a free evening of babysitting to a family who needs it), money or any kind of material goods (i.e. clothes to a clothing drive or food to a food drive) to support a local cause or charity.

As in past years we will be making a card with a list of everyone who took part and the city in which they participated. This card will then be given to Sarah after her holiday show in Toronto, Dec 20. Our cut off date for contributions is December 14th.

Since this is the fourth year of this project it is no longer really a surprise. However, we would like to keep the illusion of surprise for when the card is given to Sarah. So if you see Sarah between now and the Toronto concerts please don't let her know that this project is happening again. If you have any questions you wish to ask privately you can contact us via email at slean_holiday@yahoo.ca or send a Private Message via the message boards to either Flare or Elizalavelle. Once you have participated/donated please send an email to slean_holiday@yahoo.ca with the following information:

Your name: (as you'd like it to be entered on the card)
Your screen name: (if you'd like that to be on the card)
What you did: (we don't need amounts or specifics. For example- "volunteered at a soup kitchen" "donated to Goodwill" etc, whatever you would like to say. *Please note we are not putting amounts of monetary donations or amounts of any goods donated etc.*)
City in which you donated/contributed:

So for example a contribution email would look like this:

Everything is on the honour system, you don't need to provide proof, just go out and do something good. As always, we look forward to seeing what everyone does!

Once again this year we are going have a draw of a 3 prizes for the participants:

- Pink Floyd Redux CD (featuring 2 songs covered by Sarah Slean)
- The Baroness - Sarah's 2nd poetry book
- 5-pack of small Sarah Slean art lithographs

We will do the draw the day after the cut off date and will notify the people who win via email. If you are coming to one of the shows in Toronto we can give you your prize there, if not it will be mailed out to you.

The card will be given to Sarah after the second holiday show, if you're in the audience that night please stick around after the show in the lobby to see it being given to her. If you catch us before the show feel free to ask to see the card and stop and chat.
