Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone has any infromation about Sarah's band? Their names, who they are, where they come from? Has she always played with her band of three?

Thanks!

BB

Nope... all these people are new as of this tour

Bass and drum players came from Shaye's back-up band (It'll be SO weird to see them tonight without them!)

The bass player is Peter (aka Pico Picante with Shaye)

Drummer is Blake Manning

I can't remember the guitarist's name... it might be posted somewhere in the tour section

Cellist is Don Kerr, who also, I discovered while watching some of the Sexsmith set, is the drummer in Ron's band.

I'm pretty sure that Don Kerr is part of Ron's band and just borrowed by Sarah. At least that's the impression I got.

Erm, the guitarist (Andrew Aldridge) isn't new for the tour. He even plays on the album.

You are correct sir. As I've just learned from reading the Queen's Journal article on the show - see Betty's post;

johnathan, Typhoeus -- agreed on both counts. My apologies... I was beginning to think he looked familiar, but dismissed it as me having seen him at he last couple of shows lol.

So is Blake Manning the drummer that just recently played with Sarah at Danforth City Music Hall in Toronto? (if anyone here was there on Thursday, last week). Is Manning on this tour with her?

I ask because I thought the band was great and was interested in knowing more about them, especially the drummer.

Any more thoughts would be appreciated.

Blake and Peter also played with Kim Stockwood, among others.
Andrew (only remaining Nightbug) has a site at http://www.geocities.com/energymadeaudible
although it's not up to date.
I actually e-mailed him from his site and he answered back fairly quickly.
He promised to update his site
And he's gonna send me a copy of his CD Big Grin !!
I met him briefly at the show in Winnipeg. He was very nice and was looking forward to the tour. I thought I had seen him in Winnipeg before this show, and he had been there 3 times in the past year - twice with Danny Michel and once with Melissa McClelland and Lindy. I saw Danny at Lydias, but I don't really know about Melissa and Lindy.
If you look on his discography page there's a Christmas Women and Song CD that he did with Sarah... does anyone have this CD? I have yet to hear it :?:

I love this version. It's the perfect holiday song for Sarah to sing.
