I think that Sarah Slean kinda reminds me of actress Cynthia Nixon (former "Sex And The City") & CNN news anchor Heidi Collins who does CNN (Cable News Network) "American Morning" Monday thru Friday.

i'm gonna add Ashlee Simpson to that list.
especially if you look at the picture of Sarah on the back cover of Day One.

I'd agree on Simpson. The only other one I can think of is maybe Winona Ryder. The same sor tof pixie-ish look.

I agree with Winona, she's the closest I can think of. A friend of mine, when I showed her the Day One CD, said that she looked like Rachel Leigh Cook (from the movie She's All That). I see a slight resemblance.

I saw someone that looked like Sarah on Queen St. once. Pretty much stuck my head out of the streetcar window I was riding to get a closer look. :P

Nah, it wasn't her. She was on tour/out of the city during that time. I've ran into Sarah just once at a music store.

Lucky ducks! To be honest I think Sarah has the appropriate amount of `stardom`. I think my life would be a terrible tragedy if I could not walk the streets like a normal 20-something unlike these `stars` today. To be honest, I am glad for her that she has not hit the radar of the masses. I think it might send her fleeing away and asking J.D Salinger if he needs a roomate. To me she doesn't strike me as a person who would appreciate or thrive from utter adoration and being caught under the mason jar for speculation. Especially in todays society!

As for look-a-likes I think Melissa McClelland looks similar to her!

I ran into sarah at an NQ arbuckle show in Toronto... it was weird. WEIRD.

probably because there were only... mmm... 20 people (and I'm being generous) watching the show.

I suppose I shouldn't have been so shocked though because she's friends with the guy and John Dinsmore was originally his bassist before he worked with Sarah... and he was there too.

Yes! Totally! She was on Dawson's Creek too, adn I totally see that!

The first time I saw the black/blue-tinted picture on the back of the Night Bugs liner notes (the one you see when you open the CD), I thought she she looked like Rachael Leigh Cook so much that it was uncanny, and I still kinda do. No other pictures or videos really look like her, but just that one.

I've also thought that Ashlee Simpson comes pretty close sometimes.
