I heard the song "Mary" on the radio and thought it was kind of touching. I never heard who sang it though, so I did a bit of searching, and found out it was Sarah Slean. Then I got some more of her songs and realized she sang "Sweet ones" too. I got more and more songs, and I'm so hooked now.

I'm a big Tori Amos fan and on her message board there is a section for lesser known artists.Sarah Slean was one of those along with a few others.

So I checked a few on itunes and found I reall liked sarah but there was only 6 songs available so I ordered all her cd's from Maple Music only got them a couple of weeks ago and now I'm really hooked.
I still get drawn to Day One all the time, I think it's a fantastic album, Vertigo is one of my all time favourite songs.

Is'nt the internet brilliant-never would have heard of her otherwise as you cannot buy any of her albums here in Ireland

i started watching sarah about.. well, with my shoddy memory, i'd have to say about.. 7 years ago? I used to check out new acts in Toronto and she played a couple of shows at the 360 and I think C'est What.

i bought her first LP tape... universe... I believe it was called.

I've seen lots of acts but Sarah always stuck out in my head because she's a truly awesome performer but seems humble and human at the same time.

and she's from pickering! gooooo pickering! lol

it was nice when she emerged in the last 2-3 years in record stores... I was happy that someone with so much talent didn't drown under the waves surging forth across the music industry.
