I know this was discussed on the old boards, but I'm wondering if there has been any word from Sarah about the possibility of releasing sheet music for Day One or Night Bugs.

I would kill for a Night Bugs piano book with the piano parts and melodies written out seperately. So few bands publish their sheet music like that (Coldplay is one), but I would love to learn the piano parts of Eliot, Duncan, Street Smart...etc.

So yeah...has there ever been any talk of an official release?

I hope that one day sheet music is released, I really want to learn how to play the piano again and that would make it fun to relearn.

(I must be the only kid whose mother pulled them out of piano lessions, I didn't want to quit )

I've never heard of any plans to officially release anything - but it would be a very cool thing for the musician fans out there.

Agreed. SHeet music would be awesome; *however* sheet music is rare even for some of the bigger Canadian artists (OLP, Great Big Sea, etc.) -- it's doubtful many sheet music companies would be willing to distribute it. I think it would be awesome if Sarah could release it independantly kind of like Ravens, but it would all depend on who has the rights to what.

I know that Jann Arden has a book of her music, but a book of sarah's would be great.

Oh i would just DIE for a book of sheet music. I've actually been thinking that for a while now. Whenever i talk about piano artists, i always go on about how inventive and talented sarah is, making the piano suit her, i guess you could call it eclectic style then i always wish i could play some of it. The thought of it makes me want to be better at piano.
